Funeral service for Donald “Donnie” Worthington, 59 of Eastaboga will be Saturday May 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. His family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm and Saturday from 10-11 am Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Worthington passed away at his home on May 19, 2015. He was a native of Florida and a longtime resident of Talladega. He spent most of his time as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Hinkle’s and McCoy. He loved to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by mother, Betty Jean Gallahair Willis. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Denise Phillips Worthington, daughter, Lacey Kellum, father, Rufus Edward Willis, Sr., granddaughter, Delilah Kellum-Bradford, sisters, Betty Joyce Smith, (Brady “Cooter”) Barbara Ann Mc Rummin (Murray), Paula Elizabeth Dourn, (Kenneth), brothers, Joseph Willis, Rufus Willis, Jr. (Peggy), Johnny David Willis, mother-in-law, Bonita Acker Ledford (Harold), bother-in-law, Barry Philips, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bobby Whitehead, Josh Whitehead, Bubba Taylor, Jayson Bradford, Calvin Phillips, and David Denton. Online condolences may be sent to www.usreyfuneralhome.com
