Funeral service for Rev. James “Jimmy” Warren Wilson, Sr., 74 of Ashland will be Saturday June 27, 2015 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wayne Hester, Rev. Wayne Wilson and Rev. Eric Camp will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. His family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Wilson passed away at his home June 25, 2015. He is preceded in death by parents, Ludy and Ola Mae Wilson. He was a native of Talladega and a longtime resident of Ashland. He was a member of the Amazing Grace Outreach. He was been in the ministry for many years. He began that ministry by singing. He loved his cattle and his tractor. He had 30 years of service at Vulcan Materials. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Gail. G. Wilson, children, Pam Wilson, James Warren Wilson, Jr., (Martha), Shannon Hallmark (Skip), Randy Camp (Tammy), 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sisters, Marie Champion (Roy), Debbie Wallace (Tommy), Cathy Cline (James), brothers, Larry Wilson (Faye), Scotty Wilson (Michelle), several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandson.
