Mrs. Viola Christine Parnell, 98, left her earthly home peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
Mrs. Parnell was preceded in death by her husband, Euel Ray Parnell; son, Jeffery Parnell; and parents, R.B. and Luella Vaughan.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Smelley (Lynn); grandson, Shannon Smelley (Kristy); granddaughters, Chasity Evans (Jerry) and Heather Staples (Donny); and great-grandchildren, Harper Elders, Rowen Smelley, and Selah Smelley.
The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
A funeral service will be held at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, with Bro. Wayne Arnold officiating. Interment will be at Ragland Methodist Cemetery.
